The Global Vipassana Initiative project provides practical meditation training to those interested in deepening their practice, combining traditional methods with modern technology to make meditation more accessible. By integrating online learning, the project allows participants to meditate from the comfort of their homes, offering greater flexibility and convenience.
This initiative is designed to ensure that participants gain a clear understanding of meditation principles and the correct foundations of practice, empowering them to continue their journey independently and effectively. The programme is particularly suited for individuals who may not be able to attend full-time retreats due to work, family responsibilities, or health concerns.
With options to practise either full-time or part-time, participants can manage their practice at their own pace, committing to a minimum of two hours of practice per day. Regular progress reports are submitted to meditation teachers, ensuring continuous guidance and support throughout the training. This tailored approach is designed to fit the needs of modern life, providing a meaningful meditation experience for those seeking balance and mindfulness, regardless of their busy schedules. ...
